Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior Analyst will serve as an integral part of every transaction team, as well as having meaningful responsibility in the marketing, structuring and execution of deals. The role is fast-paced, challenging and highly quantitative. The Senior Analyst will have direct interaction with clients, investors as well as potential new clients through marketing efforts.
Our client is an entrepreneurial firm and as such everyone is expected provide services to clients, support colleagues and drive new business generation.
Typical responsibilities include:
Creation of financial projections and merger models
Market, structure and execute transactions from start to closing
Working with clients on shaping corporate strategy
Preparation of presentation and marketing materials
Conducting industry and product research
The successful candidate will possess the following:
2-3 years of M&A experience from a reputable investment banking firm, Big 4 consultancy or boutique firm ideally with TMT experience
Undergraduate degree from a reputable university in a relevant subject area
Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting and financial modelling
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Excellent technology skills (namely Excel and PowerPoint skills)
Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive
Hardworking with strong teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
An interest in technology and venture capital would be an asset
Knowledge of a European language would be an advantage
