Our client is an educational technology startup with offices in Windsor, UK and in Cairo, Egypt. They have over 200 staff members who are working on creating digital educational products for students. Our client produces educational content via their app which is available on the marketplace in Android and app store.
Role
We are looking for an SEO expert to join our client’s team. The main responsibilities of the role are to design, implement, and maintain the SEO strategy for the company website. This will involve working closely with developers and business strategists to come up with effective and scalable solutions.
Desired Experience and Competencies
Several years of SEO experience
Examples from previous roles that shows an ability to come up with innovative and original solutions to technical hurdles
Demonstrable evidence of work which resulted in ranking changes
Technical understanding of website usability, structured data, XML sitemaps, website performance, crawl optimisation, and content
Strong data analysis skills to make data-informed suggestions and decisions
Strong communication skills
The ability to connect cross-functional teams and leverage our internal resources
Good understanding of external SEO tools to measure our progress
An ability to separate long-term improvements from day-to-day work
A focus on scalability and automation
Compensation
Gross annual salary of £30,000-£40,000, competitive pension, and 28 days leave exclusive of bank holidays.
